The main task for the day will be cut back and clear any vegetation encroaching the path leading down from Woodland Way to the steps at Northwood Avenue entrance as well as remove any branches which may be overhanging the path. Vegetation encroaching the steps may also need to be cut back. Some litter left near the Picnic tables/benches located in John’s (Picnic) Glade needs to be picked up and disposed of. There will also be some sundry other jobs to be done on the day.
Although Covid regulations have now been relaxed please would you continue to bring your own gloves and tools (shears and loppers) if you have them but as usual a selection of FoF tools will be available for those who need them. Please would you also bring your own wipes and hand gel as well as your own refreshments. Please also remember to wear long trousers/jeans to avoid getting bitten by ticks but FoF’s First Aid kit does contain tick removers if needed.
